Do you like camping? Check out Lake Hawkins out in East Texas, in Mineola. Lakeside facilities cater to boaters, fishermen and campers at Lake Hawkins Camp Park. Record fish, largemouth bass, 11.91 lbs.

Multi-Arts Camp: Fantastic Voyage with Gustafer Yellowgold
Gustafer Yellowgold fans will get to meet Morgan Taylor (a.k.a. the cool musician and illustrator
behind animated creature)at a week-long camp full of cartooning and songwriting for ages 6-12.


The "Storybook Playhouse" exhibit at the Dallas Arboretum features 14 interactive playhouses
inspired by children's stories. They were designed by local architects as part of a competition.

How Do Kids Spend the Summer? Teatro Dallas Theater Camp! Kids learn acting techniques with daily practice on-stage in our professional theater with our Artistic Director.

Kids ages 4-13 can enjoy archery, target shooting, kayaking, fishing, swimming, nature walks, outdoor games, arts & crafts, & more. Come for a day ($45) week ($200) or all summer from 9am

Don't forget your camera if you head to this exhibit. A zebra longwing, tiger swallowtail, red admiral or monarch might decide to land on you at the butterfly house, which takes up more than 800 square feet.

If you buy tickets in advance for this series at Harkins Southlake, you'll pay $5 for 10 movies. Individual tickets cost $2. Movies run Mondays through Fridays at 9:45 am

Part James Bond, part Jack Bauer and part “Lie to Me,” the exhibit gives eager spy-wannabes of all ages an opportunity to experience the latest spy gadgets and techniques.
